My name is Jeremy Farrell. I am a computer vision and software engineer lead. I enjoy building software that leverages machine learning to solve complex projects. I enjoy using and experimenting with new (to me) technologies. My most recent fixation has been the Go language. I am starting this site as a way to document what I learn, keep track of significant projects I work on, and honestly just use it as a way to practice writing. I greatly enjoy teaching, whether that is through formal classes, mentorship, or hands on help to solve a problem.

In my personal life I have a wonderful wife that has supported me and pushed me to become the man I am today. I don’t know what I would do without her. I have two wonderful children, which challenge me to become a better person. Watching them grow and become their own people with different interests and personalities has been very rewarding. We have a wonderful old dog. She has lots of quirks, but she’s a great friend. Besides software I enjoy playing tennis, woodworking, snowboarding, and video games.
